02

Book Flights & Hotels

Book refundable flights and hotel confirmations. Carry printouts of all bookings at immigration.

03

Arrive & Clear Immigration

At Suvarnabhumi or other Thai airports, proceed to immigration. Show passport, ticket, hotel booking, and funds proof.

04

Fill the TM6 arrival/departure card given on the plane. Keep the departure stub — you'll need it when leaving Thailand.

Do's

  • Carry THB 10,000+ per person in cash or card as fund proof

  • Respect royal family — criticism is illegal in Thailand
  • Dress modestly at temples (shoulders and knees covered)
  • Verify current visa policy 1–2 weeks before departure

Don'ts

  • Don't overstay — strict fines (THB 500/day) and blacklist risk
  • Don't disrespect the King or royal family — criminal offense
  • Don't touch monks (women must not touch monks at all)
  • Don't carry more than 200 cigarettes without duty
