Ladakh is a once-in-a-lifetime high-desert adventure — Buddhist monasteries, the electric-blue Pangong Lake, camel dunes at Nubra and the world’s highest motorable passes.
Ladakh is the one trip where the itinerary has to respect your body: at 11,500 ft, day one is deliberately kept free for acclimatisation, and we carry oxygen support in the vehicle for the Khardung La and Pangong runs. The inner-line permits, the SUV and the Nubra camp are all arranged in advance, so the only thing you plan is how long to sit by the lake.
